Nicole Gordon will play Aussie Rules in the WAFLW in 2025
Nicole Gordon will be part of Perth's Western Australian Football League Woman’s (WAFLW) squad for their inaugural season in 2025.
The Urris and former Donegal star is currently living in the Australian city and her efforts in recent trial games has been rewarded with inclusion in the club’s main roster for the new term.
Donegal is well represented in the premier tier of Aussie Rules in the AFLW with the likes of Niamh McLaughlin (Gold Coast Suns), Amy Boyle Carr (Adelaide Crows) and Tanya Kennedy (Sydney Swans) all signed to professional deals there.

The Victorian Football League (VFL) and the WAFLW - where Gordon will ply her trade - are feeder leagues to the AFLW.
Kennedy was recruited from the VFL by Sydney two seasons ago while the likes of Aoife McDonnell (Naomh Conaill) and Therese McCafferty (Termon) have also played in that same secondary tier in the past.
