Four Donegal legends ranked amongst football’s all-time greats in new GAA book

The new book 'Pulse of the Nation' by Martin Breheny and Donal Keenan ranks four Donegal players among the top 10 in their positions

Four Donegal players have been listed among the greatest players in their chosen positions in the history of Gaelic football in a new book called Pulse of the Nation, GAA 140 Years Rankings, Ratings, Tales, and Dramas.

Written by award-winning sports journalists Martin Breheny and Donal Keenan, the book celebrates the GAA’s 140 years at the centre of Irish life, from its foundation in November 1884 to the present-day institution that has expanded massively at home and abroad.

The book zones in on the greatest players in football and hurling, ranking them one to 10, accompanied by profiles, in each of the fifteen positions in both codes.

Amongst the fifteen positions, 10 players are to choose from in each position with four Donegal men making the final 10 of their chosen position, ranking them amongst the greatest to play the game.
