2019: Final Ulster title and third All-Star
In Bonner’s second season in charge, he guided Donegal to their 10th Ulster title in the county’s history and only the second time they ever did it back-to-back after beating Cavan in the final.
This season was one of Murphy’s most impressive seasons with such individual performances like the county’s 1-20 to 1-20 drawn Super 8s match against Kerry in Croke Park standing out.
The Glenswilly man scored 1-7 including a pressure penalty and the last-gasp free to secure a draw.
Such a performance landed him his third and final All-Star, with the Donegal captain now having three All-Star awards in three different positions.
