Here are fourteen moments to celebrate the return of the man who wore number 14 throughout his career and is widely regarded as Donegal's greatest player

2011: The start of something new 

His first season as captain saw the county capture Division 2 glory and a first Anglo Celt Cup in 19 years as a shift in training and mindset was notable across the county in how the team were preparing. 

The climax of the season came in the All-Ireland quarter-final in Croke Park against Kildare. 

The Donegal captain was struggling with injury and didn’t start that day but came on 10 minutes before the break to help steady the ship. 

He was clearly injured but his will to win was phenomenal. He kicked three points, while his dart to the sideline and masterful pick-up in the last minute of extra-time was a key component in Kevin Cassidy’s winner.
