Dungloe will now face O’Donovan Rossa of Derry away in the Ulster semi-final.
Dungloe 2-12
Magheracloone 1-4
Dungloe got their Ulster LGFA Minor Football Championship campaign off the mark with a comfortable quarter-final win over Monaghan champions Magheracloonein in Rosses Park.
Ulitah Boyle and Ellie McGarvey scored the goals, one in each half, as the hosts cruised to an 11-point win.
On the day, Dungloe dominated for most of the 60-plus minutes with the likes of Mia O’Donnell, Rhianna McCready, Ava Caulfield and Elisha Boyle in fine-scoring form.
Visiting full-forward Megan McNulty scored all the Magheracloone tally of 1-4 and she did grab the game’s opening point courtesy of a McNulty free.
But Dungloe, who were backboned by up to eight of the club’s senior Donegal IFC this season, settled into the job at hand early on to dominate the opening half hour to lead 1-10 to 0-1 at half-time.
Indeed, Dungloe were 1-6 to 0-1 at the end of the opening quarter mark with Boyle hammering home the goal on nine minutes after the skipper played a neat give and go with Ellie McGarvey.

The second half was slow to get going on the scoreboard with Ellie McGarvey getting on the end of a good move for the hosts; second goal to help open up a 15-point lead.
O’Donnell and Elisha Boyle stretched the lead out 2-12 to 0-2 before the Monaghan girls added a couple of late points while a McNulty goal put a little more respectability on the scoreboard.
