Early goals set Milford U-21s on road to victory against Naomh Padraig

Naomh Padraig, Uisce Chaoin 2-5
Milford 2-12

Two early goals Milford paved the way for an U-21 B quarter final victory over a weakened Naomh Padraig, Uisce Chaoin in Ture on Sunday afternoon.

Both goals were scored by corner forward Dylan Garry in the first 12 minutes of the opening half and helped the Aodh McCormack-managed Sky Blues to 2-5 to 0-6 half-time lead.

The winners pulled away in the second half against the Inishowen side who were short a number of the Junior championship-winning side that defeated Collegelands, from Armagh, the previous day in the Ulster JFC semi-final at Healy Park.

And they were well on their way to the last four long before the end and Jamie McColgan and  Peter Grant struck for two late goals for the locals.
