Naomh Padraig, Uisce Chaoin will play Tara from London on Saturday
Naomh Padraig, Uisce Chaoin, are set to play Tara in London this Saturday, marking another key milestone in their remarkable season when they travel to London for Saturday's match.
The Donegal club is riding high after clinching the Ulster Junior Football Championship title, a first in their history, with a dramatic 3-7 to 1-12 victory over Craigbane in the final held at Celtic Park, Derry. The match showcased their attacking flair and resilience, with standout performances helping them overcome early-season setbacks.
Their path to the Ulster title was anything but straightforward. After a wake-up call in the Donegal Junior Championship, where they lost to Naomh Ultan early on, the team regrouped and produced a stunning turnaround, including defeating Carndonagh in the Donegal final.
In the Ulster campaign, they defeated stiff competition, including Ballela, showcasing an attacking style and long-range shooting that has become their hallmark.
Now preparing for their encounter with Tara, Naomh Padraig will be aiming to continue their impressive form when they play Tara at 1pm in McGovern Park.
This match will not be on TV but can be purchased on Ulster GAA TV on their website.
