Donegal U-14 team that got to the All-Ireland final last season
The Donegal LGFA U-14 panel for 2024 has been finalised following trials that showcased exceptional talent across the county.
The selection process, described as highly competitive, highlighted the high standard of players emerging from clubs in Donegal.
This year's trials saw an outstanding turnout, and the management team expressed their gratitude to all participants and the club secretaries for their support in organising the process. However, only 30 players could be selected to represent the county at this level.
The finalised panel will begin preparations for the upcoming season with their first training session scheduled for December 18 at the Donegal GAA Training Centre in Convoy.
Among those selected are players from 18 different clubs. The management has highlighted the diversity of talent within the squad, with players from across Donegal’s GAA network.
This announcement follows a year of remarkable achievements for Donegal LGFA, including the U-14 team’s memorable journey to last year’s All-Ireland final where they lost out to Offaly back in June.
