Naomh Ultan GAA will honour the 1984 Intermediate championship winning team on Saturday
Naomh Ultan GAA is set to bring festive cheer to the community with a special event on Saturday, December 28, at Páirc Naomh Ultan.
The day will feature a Christmas Parish League, uniting past and present players in a friendly adult football competition.
The highlight of the event is the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the club’s historic 1984 Intermediate Championship victory. To mark the occasion, a Club Appreciation Night will follow the games, honoring the achievements of the past and the contributions of the present.
Adding a unique twist to the day, special guest managers will compete for the title of winning bainisteoir. Throw-in for the league begins at 2 p.m., with refreshments served in the clubhouse after the final. Team selections will be broadcast live on Facebook, building anticipation for an exciting day of sport and camaraderie.
