Nathan Gavigan is being tipped to take over at Meath SFC outfit Ratoath.

Speculation in the Royal County has the Twin Towns man as firm favourite to hold the reins in 2025 with a side that has won three of the last six Meath SFC titles.

The 28-year-old former MacCumhaills man has also lined out for Donegal minors and U-21s in the past.

Gavigan - son of 1992 All-Ireland winner Martin ‘Rambo’ Gavigan - was part of the DCU freshers management team that won their fifth freshers All-Ireland title in nine years early last year.

He would then join up with Lar Norton at Ratoath, as part of his backroom team, for the 2024 season.

And it looks like Gavigan will now succeed the former in the main seat at Ratoath.
