Moville's Ciaran Diver hits 1-4 for London in Division 4 loss in Wexford

Donegal’s contingent in London’s panel opened Division 4 of the Allianz League with a heavy 2-24 to 2-6 defeat at Wexford, although Ciaran Diver from Moville hit 1-4.

Ballyshannon native and former Aodh Ruadh clubman Sean Taylor started at right-corner-back for the Exiles, with Diver and Joseph McGill, who lined out for St Mary’s Convoy, both in the forward line.

McGill hit two points, while the first London goal was scored by Liam Gallagher, whose father is from Dunfanaghy, but the visitors were 1-15 to 1-2 behind at half-time. Diver’s goal came from a free that went straight into the net.
Sean Nolan top-scored for the home team, with 0-8, which included five frees and two-pointer, with the goals coming from Gavin Sheehan and Paraic Hughes.

Nathan McElwaine from Termon, as well as former Naomh Colmcille duo Daniel Clarke and Oran Hilley, are also part of the 2025 London panel. Donegal's substitute goalkeeper from their 2012 All-Ireland success, Michael Boyle from Termon, is a coach under manager Michael Maher.
