Seven things: The takeaway from Donegal's victory over Armagh on Sunday

Donegal put in arguably their best performance of 2025 to date on Sunday afternoon when they ran in a 0-21 to 1-10 win over Armagh and left plenty of reasons for positivity going forward

After some great two-pointers from Dáire Ó Baoill in the opening game against Dublin and from Ryan McHugh, Patrick McBrearty and Oisin Gallen in Killarney, Donegal amassed 21 points on Sunday without the help of any two points. It was impressive shooting and yet they also hit 10 wides and dropped a few short. On the other hand, Armagh's 13-point total came from just eight shots.
