Seven things: The takeaway from Donegal's victory over Armagh on Sunday

Donegal put in arguably their best performance of 2025 to date on Sunday afternoon when they ran in a 0-21 to 1-10 win over Armagh and left plenty of reasons for positivity going forward

Sunday’s win means that Jim McGuinness has yet to lose a league or championship match at MacCumhaill Park, which is surely something that might provide the next visitors - Derry in the Ulster SFC preliminary round - plenty to ponder before April. In his sixth season now, McGuinness has taken charge of Donegal teams 15 times in Ballybofey, winning 12 and drawing three. The draws were in 2011, 2-11 to 0-14, against Sligo; the 2013 1-10 to 0-13 tie with Dublin and a year later, 1-12 to 1-12, when taking on Meath.
