Donegal will be eager to settle the score with the team that ended their All-Ireland ambitions last July, as they head to Salthill this weekend to face Pádraic Joyce’s Galway.
Following a frustrating draw against Derry, Galway might have hoped for a less daunting challenge than Jim McGuinness’s in-form Donegal, who have made a blistering start to 2025, winning their opening three matches and claiming the top spot in Division 1.
The Ulster champions have been further strengthened by the return of Michael Murphy, who made his first county appearance since 2022 in last weekend’s clash with Armagh.
