Caolan McGonagle is Donegal captain in Galweay

Caolan McGonagle was given the honour of captaining Donegal as they took on Galway in Division 1 of the Allianz National Football League.

The Buncrana man won the toss beforehand and with a massive breeze, opted to play against the elements in the first half. McGonagle is the third man to captain Donegal this year, with Michael Langan the skipper for the opening two games and Patrick McBrearty leading out the team against Armagh.

Donegal are three from three in Division 1 following wins over Dublin, Kerry and Armagh, while Galway have five points from six following their draw in Derry last weekend.
