Donegal hurler Liam McKinney
Liam McKinney has earned a place in the GAA.ie Hurling Team of the Week following his standout display in Donegal’s impressive victory over Kerry on Sunday.
The Burt star was instrumental in the historic win, scoring 2-3 from play as Mickey McCann’s side secured their first-ever triumph over a Munster team on a 5-14 to 3-16 win last Sunday in O'Donnell Park.

McKinney, last year’s Nickey Rackard Player of the Year, also played a key role in setting up goals for Conor Gartland and Peter Kelly.
It marks the first Team of the Week selection for a Donegal hurler this season, with McKinney’s inclusion thoroughly deserved with the Donegal native positioned at left-half forward.
