St Michael’s overcome Naomh Muire to progress in Donegal Gaeltacht championship

St Michael's advanced to the next round of the Donegal Comórtas Peile Na Gaeltachta SFC with a five-point win over Naomh Muire, Lower Rosses, at the Bridge in Dunfanaghy. 

Corner forward Carlos O’Reilly capped a fine performance with a goal and three points with Paul Johnson, Max Roarty, John McFadden, Eoghan Kelly, and Michael Cannon all hitting the target.

Daniel Devlin and Harry Harden kicked four points each and Cathal Fee scored the goal for the men from the Lower Rosses, who defeated the reigning champions Kilcar last weekend in the first round. 

St Michael’s scorers: Carlos O’Reilly 1-3, Paul Johnson 0-3, Max Roarty, John McFadden, and Eoghan Kelly 0-2 each, Michael Cannon 0-1. 
Naomh Muire scorers: Daniel Devlin and Harry Harden 0-4 each; Cathal Fee 1-0.
