Naomh Brid chalked up two good league points in local derby away to Pettigo

Aaron McGoary scored the goal and Eoghan Gallagher kicked five points as Naomh Brid proved too strong for Pettigo in their season opener on Saturday. 

Gearoid Gallagher,  Eoghan Rush, Cale Breslin, Donal Gallagher, Callum Gallagher, Eoin Quinn also got their names on the scoresheet for the victors. 

John Carrigan capped a good performance in the middle of the field for the locals with three points all from play. 

His midfield partner Shaun Robinson chipped in with two points while Ollie McCaughey and Darren Lynch also scored for the locals.
