Aaron Doherty gets the nod as Donegal name team to face Derry in Ulster SFC

Donegal manager Jim McGuinness has named his panel for the Ulster SFC preliminary round clash against Derry on Sunday.

Aaron Doherty has been named at corner-forward, having not started this season to date for the match, which starts at 2pm on Ballybofey. 

Jason McGee hasn't featured since last season's All-Ireland semi-final loss to Galway, but is on the substitutes' bench, as is Michael Murphy, Pateick McBrearty and Oisin Gallen. Finnbarr Roarty is the only debatuate on the panel. 

Donegal: Shaun Patton; Finnbarr Roarty, Brendan McCole, Ciarán Moore; Ryan McHugh, Caolan McGonagle, Peadar Mogan; Hugh McFadden, Michael Langan; Dáire Ó Baoill, Ciarán Thompson, Shane O'Donnell; Niall O'Donnell, Conor O'Donnell, Aaron Doherty. 
Subs: Gavin Mulreany, Mark Curran, Stephen McMenamin, Kevin McGettigan, Jamie Brennan, Jeaic Mac Ceallabhui, Michael Murphy, Odhran McFadden Ferry, Oisín Gallen, Patrick McBrearty, Jason McGee. Extended panel: Domhnall Mac Giolla Bhríde, Charles McGuinness, Caolan Ward, Luke McGlynn.

Meanwhile, Derry, have included Brendan Rogers to their side, after he was a forced withdrawal against Donegal in Ballyshannon. Paddy Tally has also included injury doubts Ciaran McFaul and Lachlan Murray.
