Coláiste na Carraige and Ballybay CC from Monaghan will meet again in the Faul Cup final this Tuesday, following an abandonment to the original fixture last Monday.
The sides will return to the Bawnacre Centre in Irvinestown, Co Fermanagh, on Tuesday with a 12 noon start. Last Monday's clash was abandoned before half-time with the Monaghan team leading 1-6 to 1-4 when a Carrick player suffered a head injury and was treated on the field and then airlifted to hospital.
"Coláiste na Carraige would like to sincerely thank the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland Charity for the help and assistance they provided during the Ulster Final," read a statement from the school in south-west Donegal. "We would also like to thank the Bawnacre Centre and Ulster Schools Committee for their help. We would like to wish our injured player a speedy recovery."
There will also be an opportunity for supporters to join Ulster Schools GAA, the competition organisers, in making a donation to Air Ambulance NI in light of their fantastic response to this week's incident.
