Coláiste Oiriall managed to get the better of Gairmscoil Chú Uladh in the Danske Bank Ulster Schools GAA U-19 Ward Cup final in Drumragh, Co Tyrone, yesterday.

Coláiste Oiriall, from Knockaconny, Co Monaghan trailed 2-3 to 2-1 against the team from Ballinamore at half-time but managed to come out on top by two points following an exciting second half.

Luke McGlynn, last year's Donegal minor captain and a member of the U-20 panel who won the Leo Murphy Cup last Saturday, scored 1-7. Odhran O'Connor hit 2-1, with Sean Ward hitting a point. Thomas Crossan and Jack McGlynn put in good performances for Gairmscoil Chú Uladh.
