Karen Guthrie of Donegal during the Lidl Ladies Football National League Division 1 Final
Maxi Curran, the Donegal manager, has made three changes to the team that defeated Dublin last Saturday for tomorrow’s TG4 Ladies All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Meath.
Karen Guthrie was sprung from the bench in Carrick-on-Shannon and helped herself to 2-1 against Dublin in Donegal’s 3-7 to 1-7 win and is named to start at Croke Park.
Also in are Susanne White and Niamh Carr, with Tara Hegarty, Róisín Rodgers and Emer Gallagher - who made her 100th inter-county appearance last weekend and first in almost a year following her ACL injury.
Tomorrow’s winners will take on whoever comes through the first of the semi-finals between Mayo and Kerry, on Sunday, July 31 back at GAA HQ. All four provincial champions - Armagh, Dublin, Cork and Galway - were beaten in the quarter-finals.
Donegal lost out to Meath, who are the current All-Ireland champions, in the Lidl National Football League Division 1 final in April, 2-8 to 1-9.
Meath were narrow 1-12 to 1-11 victors over Galway last Saturday and their manager, Eamonn Murray, has opted to go with the same 15 against Donegal.
