The appointment for a new Donegal senior team manager will gather pace next week.
The deadline for nominations to replace Declan Bonner is Monday evening at 6pm and then the main officers of the Donegal County Board will assess the applications before a three-person committee will be appointed.
Bonner stepped aside from his role of Donegal manager at July’s county committee meeting and that night authority was given to appoint the three-person committee, which will not be finalised until the nominations are known in case of a conflict of interest between any applicant and the committee members.
It is understood that there have been no formal applications as yet, although this is not unusual ahead of the given deadline.
