Killian Faulkner was on fire for Four Masters as they overcame Bundoran in perfect conditions at Tirconaill Park on Saturday evening.
Four Masters 3-10
Bundoran 0-13
The Four Masters full-forward ended the evening with 2-4 to his name as he put in one of those top class displays.
Bundoran, nine points down at one stage in the first half, did produce a spirited comeback at the end of the opening half and again towards the end of the second half. They were denied a goal on 55 minutes with Ryan Haughey making a magnificent double save from Johnny Boyle.
Bundoran started brightly and dominated the opening minutes before Gary Clancy converted a free on four minutes.
But it was hard to believe that it would be the 27th minute before they would add a second point. In between it was the Killian Faulkner show for Four Masters. The full-forward had the ball in the Bundoran net on five minutes.
Faulkner added a point a minute later and then pounced on a poor kick-out to power through and fire home a second goal on seven minutes.

It was really all Four Masters and Jamie Crawford weaved his way through on 14 minutes but somehow managed to drag his shot just wide of the post.
Crawford made amends with a good point on 21 minutes and Dermot Slevin (from a free and play) stretched the Four Masters lead to 2-4 to 0-1 on 24 minutes.
Bundoran found their mojo in the final six minutes spurred on by Timmy Govorov with four unanswered points - from Adam McGlone, Shane McGowan, Govorov and Gary Clancy - to leave it Four Masters 2-4, Bundoran 0-5 at the break.
Four Masters were glad of the half-time break and by the 38th minute they were 2-7 to 0-6 ahead, thanks to points from Oisin Reid and Dermot Slevin (free) to one from Jamie Brennan.
Gary Clancy and Killian Faulkner traded points before Bundoran had a good period in the middle of the half with three points from Clancy frees to cut the lead to 2-8 to 0-10.
Ryan Haughey fisted away a Michael McEniff centre before Killian Faulknere added a Four Masters free.
Then came the double save from Ryan Haughey from Johnny Boyle before points from Adam Gallagher and Gary Clancy (free) cut the lead to three - 2-9 to 0-12.
But Four Masters responded with a Joe Leape point and a third goal from Jamie Crawford to seal the issue in what was a very entertaining and open game of football.
