The Donegal LGFA Club Forum Workshop was held in Jackson’s Hotel on Wednesday with over 100 participants from 32 clubs taking part.

Niall Mulrine, the LGFA National Development Officer, delivered the workshop in Jackson’s Hotel with LGFA President Micheál Naughton in attendance.

Donegal LGFA used the meeting to commence work to formulate a three-year plan to help grow the participation and overall development of the ladies game within the county at both underage and senior level across club and county.

Club officers had their say and all information will be taken and looked at by Mulrine and the sub committee, which is made up of current Donegal county player Karen Guthrie, Maggie Farrelly, an inter-county referee in both codes, former Donegal player Maria Devenney, former Donegal county board chairman Sean Dunnion and Davy McLaughlin, who managed the Donegal senior team. A second forum will be held in due course.
