Paul Mescal
TG4's Caitlín Nic Aoidh interviewed Paul Mescal, in Irish, on the red carpet at the BAFTAs which were held in London last night. The Falcarragh TG4 presenter asked the actor whether he would be interested in taking part in an Irish-language film in the future and he said he would be happy to.
He spoke about the year of Irish film from An Cailín Ciúin to Banshees of Inisherin.
Originally from Maynooth, Mescal attended a Gaelscoil in the Kildare town and clearly enjoys conversing in his native tongue.
