A west Donegal county councillor is hopeful that long-awaited safety improvements at a Falcarragh bridge may finally be on the agenda.

Michéal Cholm Mac Giolla Easpuig hopes it is a step in the right direction regarding the implementation of a footpath at Droichead an Bhabhán in Falcarragh, which he describes as "dangerous" for pedestrians to walk on. The issue was brought up at the most recent council meeting in the Glenties MD area.
