Elaine, accompanied by her sea-swimming group “Bouys and Gulls”, has been taking the plunge for 796 consecutive days on the Donegal coast. The Ranafast native also held her 50th birthday celebrations in Bonners Bar, Mullaghduff, in aid of the Arranmore RNLI.

Through this, she raised €5,000 and presented the sum to the fundraising team. “Today, we had a very special guest visit us on Arranmore,” Arranmore RNLI said.
