Kate Tobin was crowned the London Mary, who will compete in the 2025 Mary from Dungloe Festival.

On receiving her award Kate told Brendan Vaughan: "I’m excited to be involved with the Mary of Dungloe Festival 2025 as I will have the opportunity to connect more deeply with Irish culture and community.
"My aunt lives in Falcarragh, Donegal, and I’ve always had strong ties to Ireland, spending much of my childhood visiting Tipperary, where my dad is from, and Enniskillen, where my mum's family hails from. I'm passionate about supporting mental health and the Irish community, and as a member of the development committee for ICAP, a charity dedicated to these causes, I find great fulfilment in giving back."

"Niamh is no stranger to Donegal," the Glasgow Mary from Dungloe committee posted. "With strong family links to our beautiful homeland. We look forward to sharing Niamh’s journey with you all as she prepares to represent our city in correlation with Glasgow's Irish Centre who warmly hosted and sponsored this year's selection."
The long-running festival began in 1967 and is exceptionally popular with locals and tourists. The festival has grown from strength to strength over the years. The 10-day festival in 2025 is scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 4.
