John Doran was first elected to Golf Ireland's Regional Executive Committee in 2020
John Doran has become one of the newly elected chairs of their respective regions as the Golf Ireland Regional AGM’s took place this week.
Flying the flag for Letterkenny Golf Club and Rosapenna Golf Club, Doran joins Harry McAlinden of Bray and Pat Horkan from Westport after the Golf Ireland Regional AGMs.

Doran became the Regional Chair for the Ulster region. He previously served on the Golf Ireland Ulster Branch's Match and Handicap Committee and qualified as a Level 3 Tournament Administrator and Referee in 2019. He was also elected to Golf Ireland's Regional Executive Committee in 2020. Outgoing chair Brian Hutchinson, who was first elected in 2020, congratulated John on his appointment and wished him well in his new role.
