Ciaran Moore of Donegal lifts the Anglo-Celt Cup at Clones last Saturday

Ciaran Moore, after helping Donegal lift the Ulster SFC with Donegal last Saturday, continued his winning streak in Dunfanaghy on Wednesday.

The St Eunan's player was a goalscorer as Donegal were crowned Ulster champions following a 2-23 to 0-28 victory over Armagh at St Tiernach's Park in Clones in front of 27,778. Then, at the rather more relaxed setting of the Gents Wednesday Open Stableford at Dunfanaghy Golf Club, the 22-year-old was also a winner.

Moore took top honours with 44 points, with the Letterkenny Golf Club member playing off a handicap of eight, with Jim McLaughlin (10) second on 42 points on the break of tie and Eamon McBride (17) third. Brendan McGrath was the gross prize winner.
