Ballyliffin Golf Club member Gary Foley was a winning caddy for Lottie Woad in the Women's Irish Open.

Foley was caddying for the English woman, who was a dominant victor in the competition at Carton House in Kildare.

Woad, who is the World Amateur number one, took the victory by posting 21 under over the four days, six strokes clear of Sweden's Madalene Sagstrom.

As an amateur, Woad couldn’t take home the winner’s cheque of €67,500, which instead went to second-placed Sagstrom instead.
