Irish duo Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy are in action at the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black Golf Course in New York this weekend.
Action gets underway on Friday with Team Europe pitting themselves against the Americans on US soil. Europe won the last iteration of the Ryder Cup in Rome with McIlroy and Lowry playing a pivotal role.
Lowry made his Ryder Cup debut on US soil in the tournament before that when the Americans won comfortably in the absence of any European fans due to Covid-19 restrictions in 2021. The next Ryder Cup will take place in Adare Manor in Limerick in 2027.

Rory McIlroy is in action in the early foursome matches on Day 1 on Friday. These matches, starting just after noon on Friday, see a pair of players from each site hit alternate shots with the aim of winning each hole. Shane Lowry is not in action early on Friday but will be out on Friday evening fourball matches. This tee off around 5.30pm Irish time.
Four foursome matches (all tee times in Irish time):
12:10pm: USA Bryson DeChambeau/Justin Thomas vs EUROPE Jon Rahm/Tyrrell Hatton
12:26pm: Scottie Scheffler/Russell Henley v Ludvig Aberg/Matt Fitzpatrick
12:42pm: Collin Morikawa/Harris English v Rory McIlroy/Tommy Fleetwood
12:58pm: Xander Schauffele/Patrick Cantlay v Bob MacIntyre/Viktor Hovland
The pairings have yet to be announced for the four fourball matches in the afternoon but they will comence at 5.25pm Irish time. Shane Lowry is expected to be in action in these games.
Saturday's foursome games kick off proceedings on Day 2 with the first pairings out at 12.10pm Irish time. Saturday's foursomes get underway just before 5.30pm Irish time.
Sunday's showpiece finale is the 12 singles matches with every member of both teams in action. These will get underway at around 5pm on Sunday evening. The trophy presentation will take place around 11pm on Sunday evening.
The US are the favourites to regain the Ryder Cup after defeat in Italy last time around. They are priced as 4/6 favourites while Europe are deemed a 6/4 shot.
