Eleven new social homes will be ready to let at the end of the month in Gweedore.
Phase one of the development at Radharc an Oileáin has been delivered and consists of 1 x 4-bedroomed property, 6 x 3-bedroomed properties, and 4 x 2-bedroomed properties.
“As Cathaoirleach of the Glenties MD, I was delighted to view the new Radharc an Oileáin estate with the first phase of 11 houses ready to hand over to the Council,” Independent Councillor Michael McClafferty said.
“Thanks to Developer Charles Roarty and Donegal County Council, it’s a great day for the Gweedore community. Hopefully, there will be more in other areas in the future.”
The turnkey development comprising 29 highly energy-efficient housing units is being completed in 3 phases of development by Roarty Developments Ltd.
Phase one has been completed and 11 units will be ready for letting at the end of March 2026. Construction of Phases 2 and 3 of the development is ongoing, which will deliver eight and 10 units, respectively.
