The Maghera Caves outside Ardara
Essential work to the local in Bracky Road (L2843-1), Ardara next week will affect two of the area's major tourist attractions.
The route between the N56 and Maghera Caves will be blocked next Tuesday, April 11 and Wednesday April 12 between 7.30am to 6pm on both days.
A local diversion will be in place during these times.
Maghera caves can be found beneath Slievetooey Mountain and some are accessible at low tides from Maghera Strand. They are one kilometer from another famous attraction, the Assaranca Waterfall.
Visitors are advised to be careful of tides and strong currents. Access to the beach is via a car park and a short 200-metre walk to the caves.
Donegal County Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
