Donegal property prices rise by €10,000 in fourth quarter of 2023

Median asking price for a property in the county now €209,950

Property prices in Donegal have risen by €10,000 during the quarter, according to the latest MyHome.ie Property Price Report. 

The report for Q4 2023, in association with Bank of Ireland, shows that the median asking price for a property in the county is now €209,950. This means prices have risen by €24,950 compared with this time last year. 

Asking prices for a three-bed semi-detached house in the county rose by €2,000 over the quarter to €172,000. This means that prices in the segment have risen by €29,500 compared to this time last year. 

Meanwhile, the asking price for a four-bed semi-detached house in Donegal fell by €3,500 over the quarter to €195,000. This price is down by €1,500 compared to this time last year. There were 173 properties for sale in Donegal at the end of Q4 2023 – a decrease of 20% over the quarter.
