This is an opportunity for people to mark their trailers, tools and bikes with their eircode. The Gardaí units will be in Harold’s Yard, Glenfin Road, Ballybofey today July 16 between 4:30 pm and 8:30pm. They will be in Homeland, Lifford, Wednesday July 17 between 10am and 4:30pm.  The machine can be used on a number of surfaces including metal, carbon fibre, wood and plastic and it uses a pattern of dots to mark property making it highly distinguishable and easy to return in the case of theft, rendering it unattractive to thieves. Sergeant Fergus Mc Grory from Divisional Crime Prevention Officer will be available at both events if anybody wishes to speak to him.
