A house in Killybegs was ransacked in what is suspected to be an attempted burglary.

The incident occurred in Tullid, Killybegs, on May 28, between 3:20 pm and 3:30 pm, when the rear window of the property was smashed to allow intruders to gain entry.

A bedroom within the house was ransacked, but nothing is believed to have been stolen. Gardaí believe it may have been possible that the intruder or intruders were disturbed.
