A boat in Killybegs was burgled, with a laptop and binoculars stolen.

The burglary occurred at the Town Pier in Killybegs between Friday, June 27 at 12pm and Monday, June 30 at 8am. 

It is thought that the wheelhouse of the boat was entered, where the binoculars and a GE TEC laptop were stolen from within.

Gardaí released a statement which read: “We appeal to anyone who may have observed suspicious activity in that area between those dates to make contact with Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071 9858530.

“Alternatively, the Garda Confidential Line may be contacted on 1800 666 111 with any relevant information.”
