Driver suffers serious injuries after two-vehicle Rossnowlagh crash

A collision resulting in injuries occurred in Creevy, near to Rossnowlagh

Drivers in a two-vehicle crash near Rossnowlagh on Saturday, July 12,  had to be taken to hospital, with one driver suffering serious injuries.

The crash occurred shortly after 12.40pm on the R231 at Creevy, with one of the vehicles travelling in the direction of Rossonowlagh, and the other vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.

Both drivers had to be taken to hospital to receive medical treatment. One driver sustained serious but non-threatening injuries, and the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

A statement from Gardaí read: “If anyone observed the collision, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.

“If any road users travelled in that area with a dash-cam between 12.30pm and 12.45pm, we ask them to make the footage available to investigating Gardaí.
