Rossnowlagh's Franciscan Friary
Rossnowlagh’s Franciscan Friary had a theft incident of its donations box for the second time in less than a month.
On July 16, two males attempted, unsuccessfully, to force open a donations box. No money was stolen, but damage was caused.
The incident comes after cash was stolen from a donations box was stolen from the Franciscan Friary on June 25, for which Gardaí had appealed to anyone who had observed two males involved in the incident.

In the second, unsuccessful attempt, Gardaí said one of the males was wearing a grey tracksuit, grey trainers, and a black or navy baseball cap, whilst the other male was wearing a grey top, blue jeans, and black trainers.
A statement from Gardaí read: “If anyone observed these boys in that area around that time, we ask them to contact Gardaí.
“We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have travelled in the area with a dash-cam between 11am and 12pm. Any relevant information should be passed to Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.”
