Alleged assault occurred at Ballybofey on July 27
A man had to be taken to Letterkenny University Hospital after an alleged assault at Navenny Street in Ballybofey.
It was reported that a man allegedly assaulted another man on Sunday, July 27, between 9.30pm and 9.50pm at Navenny Street, near to the junction with Chestnut Road.
The injured man was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to the incident. A statement read: “We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch with Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071 9858530.
“We also appeal to anyone who travelled in that area with a dash-cam between those times to make the footage available to us.”
