RSA invites Donegal drivers to check child seat safety in ‘Check it Fits’ service

RSA leading the Check it Fits Service in four Donegal locations

The Road Safety Authority (RSA) is offering Donegal residents the opportunity to check the safety of children’s car seats within their cars as part of their Check it Fits Service.

Their service will be open from 10am-5.30pm in Buncrana, Letterkenny, Donegal Town, and Dungloe.

The Check it Fits Service is a nationwide and free expert service that checks that a child’s car seat is safely and securely fitted in a parent's or guardian’s car.

Experts will advise on any problems, demonstrate how to fit the child seat restraint correctly, and answer any queries a participant may have.

The first stop is at Aldi, Buncrana, on July 29, followed by a service at Smyths Toys in Letterkenny on July 30.

Supervalu at Donegal Town is the next location on July 31, with the workshop tour concluding at Aldi, Dungloe on August 1.
