Shore Road/Mulreaney's Brae junction in Killybegs
Donegal County Council has granted planning permission for the construction of new terraced housing in Killybegs.
Permission was given at the junction of Shore Road and Mulreaney’s Brae, for the building of a row of three three-bedroom terraced houses with private rear gardens, along with an extension of a footpath along Mulreaney’s Brae and connection to existing public services and all associated site works.
Des Faherty was the listed applicant for the proposal.

Donegal County Council granted planning permission with 15 conditions, along with a condition that the properties shall be used as permanent houses only or for long term rental in excess of 90 days for any period and shall not be used for the purposes of a holiday home or as short-term rental accommodation, but the condition excludes second homes occupied on an intermittent basis by persons who are returning emigrants.
The applicant shall also pay a contribution of €11,428.47 in respect of public infrastructure and facilities benefitting development in the area of the Planning Authority that is already provided or is intended will be provided by the Authority.
