Santiago Selero and Mark Ramsey at Finn Park
A duo of Celtic FC supporters thanked Donegal locals for their hospitality, as they continued their 100-mile walk in aid of Celtic FC Foundation.
Glaswegian Mark Ramsey, and Santiago Selero from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but living in Barcelona, Spain, are making their way from Letterkenny to Ballymote in Co Sligo over the course of five days for charity.
During their trip, they stopped off at Finn Park in Ballybofey, the home of Finn Harps, before continuing on their journey to Donegal Town.
Arriving in Donegal Town, Mark told Donegal Live: “We arrived with some guys from the Association of Donegal Celtic Supporters Club, so a huge thanks to them for welcoming us. We went to Biddy's O’Barnes for a bit of grub, and they welcomed us. I want to say a massive thank you to them for being so hospitable and friendly.

“We walked 27km from Ballybofey, and it was nice and sunny. It is all going well. Our legs are a bit sore, but we will get there. We will leave early doors to Bundoran for one night, and then head down to Sligo the next morning.”
Santiago, a member of the Argentina CSC (Celtic Supporters Club), spoke fondly about his time in Ireland.
He stated: “This is my first time in Donegal and Ireland. For me, what I like the most so far is the hospitality of the people. They are all willing to give us luck, so I want to help everyone who has helped us so far.”
