Provisions should be made for future Donegal Town burial grounds facility

Donegal Town highlighted by Cllr Kennedy for new burial ground facility

Donegal County Councillor, Niamh Kennedy, has called for a new burial grounds facility in Donegal Town.

Speaking at October’s meeting of the Donegal Municipal District Meeting in Donegal Town, the Killybegs-based councillor said: “Donegal Town would have been mentioned before. It might be time if there were a section identified for future planning.

“I do know that there have been a number of people enquiring. With more people coming into the country, there needs to be provisions made. It is to highlight that Donegal Town is looking for that.”
