Sad passing occurs of popular Donegal Town barber, Michael Quigley

Sad passing of Michael Quigley

Popular Donegal Town barber, Michael Quigley, has sadly passed away peacefully at his home in Ardatole, Townawilly.

Originally from Glasgow, Michael ran a barber shop in Main Street, Donegal Town, and had retired in the last decade.

A proud Glasgow Celtic FC supporter, he has been described as one of “Glasgow’s and Donegal’s finest gentlemen” in an online condolences book.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Michael, Janie and Tim and their partners, his grandchildren, Juliette, Hugo, Samuel and Hugh, sister-in-laws Margaret and Sue and his many close friends, neighbours and former customers.

Predeceased by his wife, Sarah, his brothers Toni and Giovanni and his parents, Tommy and Natalia.

House strictly private at all times.
