Donegal County Council are inviting the general public to attend a public information session about the Community Climate Action Fund (CCAP) on Tuesday, November 11, at Donegal Town Public Service Centre.

Donegal County Council, in association with the Department of Climate, Energy, and the Environment, will provide funding to local communities for projects that promote community climate action.
The fund is open to not-for-profit community groups and clubs located in the operational area of the Donegal County Council, and the CCAP can fund 100% of all eligible costs for the project, which has three tiers of funding.
Funding can range from under €20,000 to €100,000.
The closing date for applications is December 22, 2025.
Projects must deliver a positive impact on climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and/or helping communities adapt to the consequences of climate change.
Themes of the programme funding are community energy, sustainable travel, food and waste, shopping and recycling ( circular economy), and local climate and environmental action (biodiversity).
