Defibrillator stolen from Donegal Town's The Diamond
Calls have been made for the return of life-saving equipment after a defibrillator was stolen from The Diamond in Donegal Town in the early hours of Sunday, October 26.
CCTV has recorded the incident, where a man can be seen removing the defibrillator from the case at approximately 1.50am, and continued on foot with it in the direction of the Ballybofey Road.
Gardaí issued an appeal for the return of the defibrillator and for assistance from the public.

A statement read: “We appeal firstly to the male in question to return this vital piece of life-saving equipment before a life is lost as a result of its absence. It is never too late to do the right thing.
“We appeal to motorists who may have travelled in that area with a dash-cam between 1.30am and 2.30am, to make the footage available to investigating Gardaí.
“If anyone can assist with relevant information, they are asked to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.”
