Planning permission has been submitted by Tesla for EV Charging Hub at The Mount Errigal Hotel
Tesla Motors Ireland Ltd has applied to Donegal County Council for planning permission to install an electric vehicle charging hub at a Letterkenny hotel.
The proposed Tesla Electric Charging Hub is planned for The Mount Errigal Hotel, and involves the installation of high-power electric vehicle charging points and associated infrastructure consisting of eight electric vehicle charging bays with Tesla illuminated charging units and related signage.

Included in the submitted application was the installation of the proposed Tesla supercharger power cabinet equipment, a proposed modular substation, the erection of associated electric vehicle signage, and all associated site development works.
The Mount Errigal Hotel has granted landowner’s consent for Tesla Motors Ireland to apply for planning permission and to develop the electric charging hub on its land.
Donegal County Council announced a decision due date of January 17, 2026, for the submitted application.
